About Jessica

Baan means path in Dutch. Nessi carries the sense of descendant, or child of, in Italian. Between the two, my own name already tells a story about home and the people who walk toward it.

I am a strategic advisor, not a broker. My work is to help families and investors decide, with clarity and discipline, whether Costa Rica is the right move for their life or their capital before an irreversible commitment is made.

My path here was not conventional. Before real estate, I spent over a decade inside standards-led, high-standard environments, including Louis Vuitton, TAG Heuer, and Elie Saab, where discretion and execution mattered more than persuasion. That discipline is the foundation of the BAAN Method, the framework I use today to filter risk before a family or an investor commits to Costa Rica.

Why this work

As someone who relocated to Costa Rica myself, nearly eleven years ago, I understand what the brochures do not tell you: that arriving is not the hard part. Understanding the real dynamics, each zone with its own rhythm, its own unwritten rules, is. That firsthand experience, paired with a decade of standards-led discipline, is what I bring to every engagement. I work with a limited number of clients each year, by design, so that every family and every investor gets the full weight of that attention.
